July 8th: Caregiver support group: Making music together and Self-care playlists
Life as a caregiver can be quite isolating with little time left for yourself let alone with friends. Coming together as a group and making music is a proven way to release and reduce stress allowing you to connect with others around you. On July 8th we will make and share music together and learn to create self-care playlists for those moments when you need a break or to re-charge but don’t have time to do so. Come ready to participate in whatever way is best for you. NO MUSIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. If you have an instrument you’d like to bring, please do – all instruments are welcome.

Join us for the Ugly Truth of Caregiving
Do you feel like your loved one’s illness has changed who they are? Are you frustrated and alone on this journey? Need an outlet to vent? Join us for the Ugly Truth of Caregiving and Loss at our Morning Teas, as we talk about the losses that happen along this journey.
This group is for those that want to share their story in person and process their emotions in a safe space. Join us for the Ugly Truth of Caregiving as the Hope Grows facilitator guides us in conversation and empowers community support.
If you come in person, coffee, tea, and snacks are always provided. Hope Grows has become a ‘no shoe’ facility and if you do not want to take your shoes off, we have medical shoe covers for your convenience. We also ask that you use a hand sanitizing wipe or gel, also provided for your convenience. Please register.
