Join us for the Winter 2018 Take a Break in the Dirt Program!
This seasonal, volunteer-run, adaptive gardening program engages children with disabilities ages 5-18 in gardening and nature related activities while their family or caregiver takes a well-earned break!
Children are matched with a volunteer who guides and supports them, whether they have a physical, intellectual, or developmental disability. Children learn about garden tooling, watering, composition, plant propagation, and garden grooming. All while they create garden memories through journaling and take-home projects. Most of all, children enjoy the restorative benefits of just being in and interacting with nature!
Registration and Application required. Call 412-369-4673 or email email@example.com
Parents, Consider taking a yoga class during these times for your own enjoyment. Click here for details and pricing for this class.
